DecOre currently has 24 different types of brick blocks. Each brick has a stairs, slab, and wall variant. All bricks share the same properties, except that Obsidian Bricks are blast resistant just like Obsidian.

All bricks share this recipe template, which uses a new resource called Mortar. Any ores from the list at the top of this page that are registered in the Ore Dictionary in Forge can be crafted into bricks using the same template. You can even craft Vanilla clay bricks using this template, yielding more brick blocks per brick. (The Vanilla recipe still works for clay bricks, if you prefer.)

You may have noticed that Coal, Redstone, Lapis, Emerald, Diamond and Obsidian don't normally come in the shape of a brick or ingot. So, to make bricks for these ores you will need to follow a couple extra steps!

Check out the info page on Mortar for the other half of the brick recipe!
